OUR REVIEWS
Lovely warm atmosphere, maybe in part down to the beautiful log burner, but mainly down to the customer service. Really friendly and welcoming staff across the board who were attentive and accommodating. I asked for my burger to be well done, and unfortunately had to send it back for another dip in the pan, and they were more than happy to resolve the issue without complaint. The food was of a really good standard, really tasty and not just your standard boring options. The mac'n' cheese balls were crispy and surprisingly light, rather than the usual stodgy goop you get. Chips were also delicious; my husband had the garlic and Parmesan, but they also had curly fries. If you didn't need any more encouragement to go.

This restaurant is located a 10-minute walk from Stroud town centre in a quiet residential neighbourhood. It has a small seating area at the front and a rear garden. Inside, there is a dining table as well as a bar, and a fire in the winter. The food is mainly burger-based, with beef, chicken, pork and vegetarian options. The burgers are all large and delicious. The Welsh Cow (beef burger with rarebit) is particularly good. The only potential improvement would be for the fries' toppings to be dusted all over the fries rather than just a topping. The staff are polite and friendly.
